Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Buttery Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies are a marvelous treat loaded with milk chocolate chips and Hawaiian salted macadamia nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped dry roasted macadamia nuts with sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or non-stick liners.
  2. Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until creamy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat until combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
  7. Bake until edges are golden brown, about 9 to 11 minutes.
  8. Cool cookies on baking sheets for 1 minute then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
