Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup amaretto
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups cooked long grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter a 1-quart baking dish.
  2. Whisk together eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Add milk, amaretto, butter and salt. Whisk until combined.
  3. Stir in rice. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until center is just set.
  5. Sprinkle almonds on top.
