Ingredients
For the Turkish Beef Burger:
1poundGround Beef93% or leaner
1/2cupcooked couscous
1egglightly beaten
2tablespoonsfinely chopped fresh mint leaves
2teaspoonsminced garlic
1teaspoonlemon zest
1/2teaspoonsalt
4whole-grain hamburger buns
4slicesred onion
2cupsromaine lettuce
1/2Creamy Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce or tzatziki sauce
For the Creamy Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce:
1/2cuppeeledfinely chopped or grated cucumber
1/2cupplain nonfat yogurt
1teaspoonfinely chopped fresh mint leaves
1teaspoonfinely chopped fresh parsley leaves
1teaspoonminced garlic
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/8teaspoonpepper
Instructions
For the Turkish Beef Burger:
In medium bowl, combine Ground Beef, couscous, egg, mint, garlic, lemon zest and salt, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four 1/2-inch thick patties. Place patties on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 13 - 15 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, covered, 13 - 14 minutes) until instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160°F, turning occasionally.
Prepare Creamy Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce. Place burger on bun, top with lettuce and red onion. Top with 2 tablespoons Creamy Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce. Close sandwich.
For the Creamy Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce:
Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cook's Tip: Cooking times are for fresh or thoroughly thawed ground beef. Ground beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. Color is not a reliable indicator of ground beef doneness.
