Remoulade Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or light oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
  • 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a knife blade. Process for 30 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl. Process for 20 to 30 seconds. Transfer to serving container. Serve immediately. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
