Apple Ginger Bourbon Fizz
The fizz cocktail originated in New Orleans, where it was in such high demand that bars had to employ teams of bartenders to take turns shaking the drinks. The most popular fizz variation is the gin fizz, which contains gin, fresh lemon juice, and sugar, topped with soda water.
This bourbon fizz cocktail tweaks the classic gin fizz recipe by mixing bourbon and apple butter, topped with ginger beer and garnished with a lime wedge.
Pair the Apple Ginger Bourbon Fizz with sweet, smoky, or slightly spicy foods. These will compliment the flavor of the bourbon. Here are a few ideas.
